Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Chyn's mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Chyn ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Chyn lets you connect third-party email and identity providers, including Google and Gmail. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your accounts and devices, and for all activity under your account. You must comply with any terms, policies, and security requirements imposed by those third parties when using their services through Chyn.

When you connect Gmail, you authorize Chyn to access and use Gmail data only as needed to provide the email features you choose to use, such as syncing, reading, searching, organizing, labeling, archiving, moving messages to trash, unsubscribing from, composing, sending, and notifying you about email. You remain responsible for the email content, contacts, attachments, labels, filters, and other information in your Gmail account.

You control whether to grant, keep, or revoke Google permissions. If you revoke access, sign out, remove an account, disable notifications, or delete local app data, some Services may stop working or may no longer stay in sync with Gmail. Actions you take in Chyn may modify your Gmail account, including changing labels or read state, moving messages, sending messages, creating filters, unsubscribing, or moving messages to trash.

You agree not to misuse the Services. For example, you must not:

• Violate any law or infringe others’ rights.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Services.
• Use the Services to send spam, malware, or deceptive communications.
• Scrape, benchmark, or automatedly access the Services in ways that impair performance or violate our policies.
• Circumvent access controls, usage limits, or security measures.

The Services may be offered as a preview, beta, or early access program. Features may change, break, or be removed. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Services with or without notice. We are not obligated to provide support or to maintain any particular feature.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information, including Google user data and Gmail data. By using the Services, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Services, including all software, branding, and content we provide (excluding your content), are owned by Chyn and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or logos except as needed to use the Services as offered.

The Services depend on third-party platforms and providers, including Google, Gmail, Apple, Firebase, cloud hosting providers, and push notification services. We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, security, content, or policies. Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies from those providers.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, secure, or free of harmful components. Email delivery, synchronization, search results, summaries, notifications, unsubscribe actions, filters, labels, and other mailbox features may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chyn and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the greater of fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50) or the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve (12) months before the claim (if any).

You will defend and indemnify Chyn and its affiliates, officers, and employees against any third-party claims arising from your misuse of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms, subject to our reasonable cooperation and the right to assume exclusive defense where permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Chyn operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue for disputes, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance, where allowed by law. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Services.
